Godfather part 2 is a masterpiece and one of the few sequels which is better than the first. A magnificent cast lead by De Niro who is brilliant as the young Don Corlone, assuming the mannerisms of Marlon Brando in the first Godfather is a masterclass in acting. A faultless, superb film. If anyone hasn't seen it, you must.

Words of wisdom, i agree.

NSC can't have an 'official' poll when it's a choice of 16 films from one person. Although all of them were a good watch I would only put two of them in my top twenty!!

A list missing Memento and The Beat That My Heart Skipped is not a list of potential best films ever.

I cannot take a top film list seriously when it does not include any of the 'Herbie' films in it.

Out of those, I have plumped for Snatch.

I'm gutted that 'The Green Mile' didn't make it into the running :(

Fantastic film is the Green Mile. I voted Shawshank, but was tempted by Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels. I am slightly surprised that Forrest gump has not got a mention, or platoon come to that.

I am sorry if one of your favourite films are not on their. As I said, it was the best 16 films IMO, I am only 17 so obviously haven't seen every good film there is. I tried to make the poll popular well known films. For example I left out one of my favourite films, The Lives of Others as I thought many wouldn't have seen...

If I were to include everything, The Green Mile, Memento etc I would need a poll of about 50 and I think that is a little too long.
