yes I know it's SHIT but I fancy seeing a game when I'm over there next in November.

I'm staying in Manhattan and have had a look at the fixtures and it seems that the Knicks are not playing at home when im there, which is no big loss as they are the whipping boys by the looks of it.

So, I thought I'd watch the NJ Nets

does anyone know

a) how long it would take to get to their venue from the city? best form of transport?

b) where I would buy tickets?

TA x

I can confirm that I have looked at their website, but need the non-official English viewpoint.

Thanks in advance

Not sure on how long it would take to get there, but the Nets seldom sell out so it may well be possible to buy tickets on the gate.

Go to an American Football game, My favourite sporting experience outside of the Albion. The Jets aren't a bad team.

You can catch the bus from the Port Authorty Bus Terminal (41st street vaguely from memory) to Meadowlands, it takes about 45 minutes. Buses start running about 2 hours before the game.

If youre loaded however ring a car company and get yourself driven out there - takes about 35 minutes but finding your driver when the game finishes can be tricky!!

whats the jets ROSTER looking this semester?

I haven't seen that much of the Jets this year, Seems to have helped that they have got Pennington back though.

The RED BULLS are shit FRANCHISE.

However, they will have a new SOCCERBALL specific stadium in Harrison next year so their attendances might improve next season.

The best fans in MLS are Washington Utd, Chivas, Chicago Fire & LA Galaxy - probably in that order.

quite bamboozling though

you go on some websites and they are selling tickets for about $25 vs Miami Heat Nov 10 (http://www.buyselltix.com/nba/nets.php)

then you go on official ones like the one you have linked and theyre saying cheapest c $100!?! - as the cheap seats are sold out

To be honest most tickets I got for the NFL, NBA or Major League were through work or by asking the doorman in our building - he knew quite a few concierge and the ticket trading market was incredible!!
