Would be very harsh, but I think there is a chance we will not see much of him in a Brighton shirt again, as he is surely now third choice defensive midfielder behind Liam & Kish and probably too old/not quite up to Championship standard

Seeing as Kish has hinted - and I agree with him - his body won't be up to Championship standard week-in-week-out, I think Navarro is someone we should definetly keep!

Sorry ibrahim I totally disagree, he was total class last season and yes Liam is a great player as is Kish but Kish thinking about hanging his boots up at end of season, so Nav be like a new signing.

It will be great to have Navs back and available but I do wonder how he'd get into the side at the moment ...

is kish doing anything regarding his coaching badges? i get the feeling that his experience has been invaluable to some of our younger players, and i'd quite like him around the club in the future

Pre Injury, in the second half of last season he was in a whole different league to Bridcutt, and Kish won't be here next season.

I spoke to him at the xmas parties and he said 2 months.

when navarro returns we'll have 4 central midfielders who would all (imo) get into pretty much every other team's (in this league) first eleven

edit- make that 5 actually

Don't forget we have Yaser Kasim who plays the same role & is knocking on the door of the first team too.

Would think he'll get a proper chance once Kish retires end of season and might well take pre-season to get his form back. Seems the lowest priority position to upgrade when we get promoted (not not saying we'll win the league) so think he'll stick around and hope he does as was sheer brilliance the both times saw him live this season

Kasim is a winger is he not?

I thought i read somewhere on here, that somebody spoke to Navs himself recently, and he said another month. Good news, hopefully(!!!) they'll be a couple of games where we get ahead early and can bring him on for the last half hour of games to get him back to full fitness. Give him a fair crack at earning an extension, it'll take time to get back to how he was undoubtedly, time i think we can warrant for someone who we know is a class above on his day.

I was chatting to him yesterday at Esporta at Falmer...he is 4 weeks away from full fitness after his injury. He is looking forward to trying to get back into the squad....he is a really top bloke....a more articulate version of wayne Rooney...LOL
