Parking restrictions start around Preston Park Stn area tomorrow and the signs were reveled today MAXIMUM STAY 4 HOURS for pay and display. Not what we were lead to believe talk about tucking up the poor commuter.

Shock, horror....they do what they want anyway re parking.

It's £ 4 for a max of 11 hours......restrictions are between 9.00am - 8.00pm...........at this moment in time in Woodside Rd (by the Pub overlooking the station) 5 cars parked in residence bays and 5 cars parked and paid..and oh one of those has been given a ticket.
All the streets just out of the area were chock a block this morning and cars were parked on the verges.
I assume if you live in the area and have a couple of cars in the family and no off street parking you only get one permit per vehicle and are forced to park well away from your own house !..or pay for the privilege.

This is the poxy scheme HB&B was encouraging people to support when they did the "consultation". Its a complete f***ing joke.

They could solve the alleged commuter parking problem by having restrictions between 10am and 11am like they have near that school down the Droveway,

Or they could charge residents £106 and charge everyone else £4 a time all day SEVEN days a week and rake a load of money in

I wonder which they would prefer to do?

Bastards. :angry::angry:
