Can anyone who defends Southgate give me any valid defence anymore

No goals in 9 and a half hours, relegated from the group, attacking talent being wasted, no tactical fluidity..

Mark my words if we do scrape through the group stages due to a piss poor group we will be out in the first knockout phase, he should be sacked now but we know the FA won’t sack him.

So frustrating as it'll be another WC wasted and then Southgate gone straight after. Almost guaranteed to happen. So ridiculous

Maguire’s form continues….no surprise. That’s on you, Southgate.

Is Southgate brave enough to sub Maguire?

Kane is absent.

Maguire lost the ball in their half.
Outplayed by a very poor German side.

And that should be that for Southgate if he felt like he should do the honourable thing.

The boos at full time will tell him all he needs to know.

Southgate, go now and give us a chance of salvaging some pride.

The 2/1 offered for a Germany win when slabhead is playing was just bookmakers giving money away.

The Maguire thing is just wierd. It’s self harming.

His defence for picking him is that he’s been good for him in the last 2 tournaments - well on that basis he may as well pick Lingard, Alli and Ashley Young then. It’s just nonsense.

And Tomori is sent home!
