Nope.

My two oldest children were born in Egypt and my two youngest were born in England. All four are Irish with passports and citizenship. Well, the new baby is waiting on hers but it's in the pipeline.

I was just wondering legally.

Coz if i had been born on my parents trip to Germany, would that have made me a Kraut?

So is place of birth and nationality seperate?
well you would be german but also english
i think you would find it more differcult for passports
if you are born in a german hospital then you are german
if for instance you are born on a military base then you a\re english ??

Being born in the UK doesn't make you a, erm, well theres no such thing as UK citizenship, but it doesn't make you legally entitled to British citizenship at all. Ditto Ireland - if born here with neither parent a citizen, you have to get it the same way they do, live here for whatever time (eight years I think) and apply for naturalisation. I think most countries are the same by now.

You take your nationality from your parents.

Why can't people be proud of what they are?

I am British, that is what it says on my passport, though I was born in England.

"British" can mean many things.

Current UK passports distinguish between:-
British citizens;
British Dependent Territories citizens;
British Overseas Territories citizens;
British Nationals (Overseas);
British Overseas citizens;
British protected persons; and
British subjects.

Of these, only British citizens have the right of abode in the United Kingdom (or what has been officially described in passports issued after February 2006 as Rìoghachd Aonaichte Bhreatainn is Èireann a Tuath).

In that case I consider myself to be a British Citizen.
