Not sure whether this was before or after the half million euros of damage they did to their train. Only about 30 police to look after that lot.

Wowsers. Pretty impressive stuff from the Ultras and certainly not an easy job for the Police.

Brighton Ultras were last seen storming Wivelsfield station, but they both ran off when a train guard asked them for their ticket.

Does anyone remember the impressive Mexican Wave by the Leeds fans at The Goldstone. They had most of the East Terrace and zipped a wave from bottom left to top right in about three seconds - shouting and standing as they did so. Was genuinely awesome. And not a little threatening.

i remember them booting down the east fence on the last day of the season and offering out the north stand.

How does storming a train station have anything to do with kicking a bit of leather around?

I think it's essential that hooligans are seen as nothing to do with football, the football is just an excuse for a ruck, there's no passion towards the actual football played most of the time.

Can someone please define them? As sometimes I have seen them represented as a sort of super fan, and sometimes the complete opposite.

Impressive, in that it made an impression on me.

The Atomic bomb was fairly impressive, but I would not label myself a fan of atomic warfare.

I wasn't personally praising the Leeds fans - and they weren't hooligans. I was merely noting that it was a genuinely impressive display of mass organisation (rivalling the Chinese) and it made an impression.

Leeds had already been promoted by then, so I think they were just having fun in the Sun.
