Eeeeeeeek.Theyre using the chalk to write messages to all the other birds. Like a primitive facebook party invite. It'll be like "The Birds" at your place soon!!
£30 million would be including a Chelsea tax. In real terms he is probably worth less than half of that. For me he is a steal if he goes for anything less than £30m
A brilliant passer of the ball and a great engine in our midfield. My current favourite player and losing him isn't worth thinking about

Napoli have really tied themselves up in knots this window. No involvement in the friendly looks like he is off, probably serious haggling over the fee. Think 15m would clinch it.
Not 100% sure he wasn't being slightly economical but FH did say yesterday he was hoping to have him back in the squad this week along with Dunk.No involvement in the friendly looks like he is off, probably serious haggling over the fee. Think 15m would clinch it.
The only ones at Brighton & Hove Albion who have any intention to sell him for £12m are the people of NSC who thinks he's "too small" for the football they want Hurzeler to want to play.Just seen Liverpool want £12m for some nothing called Bobby Clark

6 games of football as an adult in his life.
How on earth is wee Billy the same price? Football is weird. The money is astonishing
Bobby Clark will end up at tranmere in 2 seasons and they'll be laughing about how they got the same as we got for a genuinely class midfielder
I really like Billy but he is lightweight and that's not his fault. All the workout aren't going to make him muscleman. If he had the right players around him he would probably be ok. There is something in all this chat, but no way would or should he be released on the cheap unless of course it is actually his wish. 18 mil sounds a fair price imho. The only ones at Brighton & Hove Albion who have any intention to sell him for £12m are the people of NSC who thinks he's "too small" for the football they want Hurzeler to want to play.
But the whole idea that he'd get sold for £12m is based on a British football fantasy where you win more games if you have more tall players. It has nothing to do with Hurzelers actual tactics.
Yeah he is lightweight but I think this is much more of a problem for the demography here than it is for a modern football coach, modern football team or modern football player. Many of the best players in the world, especially central midfielders, are physically similar to Billy. The 1980s ended.I really like Billy but he is lightweight and that's not his fault. It seems that Hürzeler essentially plays two sorts of midfielders:Yeah he is lightweight but I think this is much more of a problem for the demography here than it is for a modern football coach, modern football team or modern football player. Based on what? He had an xG of less than 1 last season - not like he's getting a bunch of goal scoring opportunities. Neither did he get a lot of assist opportunities as someone with a build up starting position 10 meters from the centre backs. If we find Billy in the role Ayari had yesterday, I think we'll see plenty of assists. And goals. It seems that Hürzeler essentially plays two sorts of midfielders:
1. Deep lying playmakers who can step into a back 3 or 5 with attributes similar to a stereotype centre back.
2. Box to box midfielders who can regularly score and assist.
You purposely frame the ‘NSC blob’ as only caring about point 1. whilst ignoring the fact that Billy can’t hit a barn door with a banjo, nor can he provide the sort of assist numbers that our new manager will insist on from his midfielders.
For what it’s worth, I think he’ll be a huge success at Napoli because a manager wants him to perform a role that does not require the above midfielder attributes, points 1. & 2.
The eye test with his shooting. He just doesn’t seem to have the knack.Based on what?
Yep. He said this via at about 3.15.Not 100% sure he wasn't being slightly economical but FH did say yesterday he was hoping to have him back in the squad this week along with Dunk.

ofc . its just interesting to see it nonetheless.Indeed. This is always the line until a serious bid has been accepted.
Indeed. He was specifically asked about WBG by the interviewer. A good question into the corridor of uncertainty but a measured straight bat dealt with it effortlessly.ofc . its just interesting to see it nonetheless.
