I'll start...
I'll start...
All I wanted for Christmas 30 years or so ago was Mariah Carey
I believe the single "Stay Another Day" was written by East 17's Tony Mortimer about the suicide of his brother. So not really a Christmas Song but it is brilliant and sad at the same time.Right..........rolls up sleeves.......
East 17 were not Naff, they were the edgy boyband to rival Take That, the All Saints to the Spice Girls, the Stones to the Beatles.
They had 20 top 10 singles and 4 top albums and went to number one in Australia. (thanks wiki) Some would say their cover of "west end girls" was better than the original.
Next you will be slagging off the cheeky girls - im not having it
Never knew that, was never an East 17 fan but but that does lend a new perspective to it...I believe the single "Stay Another Day" was written by East 17's Tony Mortimer about the suicide of his brother. So not really a Christmas Song but it is brilliant and sad at the same time.

Actually NOT Naff, they were one of the best live bands I have seen.
Stay another Day and Lonely this Christmas are far from "wondrous".and off we go with many arguments about bands not being naff or singles not being wondrous. Love it.
