Well, at least I think that's what happened...

I think there was a power surge, or something tripped in our house because certain things just turned themselves off, including the PC I'm using right now.

But the telly didn't turn off. Instead the picture just went and I ended up with a black and white fuzzy screen.

I use my aerial through a booster, so I unplugged it all and turned everything off. Then I tried to retune my telly in, and although it has some signal, it is VERY limited. I have tried tuning it with and without the booster, but the signal and picture quality is awful. Unwatchable even!

Now, I'm faced with a dillemma. Is it the aerial/booster that is now faulty? Or is it in fact the telly itself that is screwed? Anyone who has any idea, would you be so kind as to share your thoughts, because I love my telly, and my world feels empty right now...

...well that and the fact I don't wanna have to buy a new one unless I REALLY have to!

Panic over! I have tried re tuning the telly, and every channel has come back now. I can only assume the series of power surges in the area affected the telly transmitters for a while. Maybe they have sorted it now.

Good to see that the BBC are across this problem...

BBC Sussex on the radio and BBC local news on the telly have both said NOTHING about it :lolol:

Yes, but still...

I mean when someone from Brighton tries to phone BBC Sussex (as it's now called) then all the calls are obviously piped through to Guildford.
Surely there must've been people from Brighton/Sussex who called in?

I know when there have been power cuts in Mid Sussex, people call my show like you wouldn't believe! And I'm pretty sure that BBC Sussex would have more responsive listeners than my station/show ever would!
