I actually thought that was Barnes' best game for a while - certainly this season.

Far too balanced, observational, technical, objective and witty in places for my liking.

Really? I thought you were pretty quiet, I heard the odd chant of Albion and a faint whisper of Coppells got VD other than that pretty average away fans. Not saying our 15,000 fans did much, mind you bloody cold though.

Honestly? - cut out the childish in-joke about Calderon and sherry - it's a press article not a fan's personal blog. But a well balanced account of the match and you are spot on about Barnes. He is developing into a serious player.

A fair report judging by the impression I got from the SCR commentary, but bit woried about the reference to Albion players "back-peddling" during the game.
