[Albion] My half time thoughts

Tough half against a really good side in difficult conditions. Two very good footballing sides - and I’m talking about fecking Brighton and Bournemouth. Incredible really.

Absolutely gorgeous football for the goal, but we’ve offered nothing else at all since and been largely under the cosh. Love Georginio’s work rate, skill and enthusiasm but he has tried a killer pass unsuccessfully four times that half, when we’d have been better holding the ball and slowing the pace down.

Feisty, mildly tetchy game, and wouldn’t be at all surprised to see a red card in this second half. I just hope it’s for them.

Couldn’t have any complaints if we were level at the break as they’ve been on par with us, just one moment of class for the goal and some good keeping from Bart and a tight offside call is the difference so far.

Said at the start I’d take a draw and the way the game has gone, it would still be a good result we could be pleased with, but obviously I’m hoping for the win!

They look like scoring though so I think we’ll need another if we’re going to take the three points.

This is the first time in about a year I’ve made an assessment of a game and a second half prediction come pretty much exactly true.
