An excellent post and thank you for that, perhaps you should post it regularly to remind some of us of reality.

More Albion writing here: North Stand Blog | All about Brighton Hove Albion (or via the 'BLOG' button at the top of the page..)

Various pieces, plus links to TSLR and Hovian stuff.

Indeed. Currently working on some stuff to make the blog (and some 'coming soon' stuff far more prominent on NSC).

I'm also not too keen on people using NSC to advertise wares on other sites which could be posted on NSC. Other sites crack down on people trying to take their reader eyeballs off elsewhere - I'm still working out what we will do, but my gut feel is if NSC provides an avenue for a certain type of content then please use it.

So you're suggesting you're not keen on Albion fan sites and blogs, even if they offer something completely different to NSC?
I'm not just talking about our site either.

What about the excellent SeagullsTV?
What about Brett's (excellent) Blog - and the various other good Albion blogs on the internet?
Remember Albion archives? AlbionAlbum.co.uk? Brightonfans.com? Albion Roar? Would we know about all these superb sites if it wasn't for NSC? No. Do they stop people using NSC? No. Do they compete with NSC? No. (well, the various blogs didn't anyway, until you started your blog page the other week). Do all these sites supplement NSC quite well? Yes.

What about all the news stories your new news forum links to, do they take peoples eyeballs elsewhere? Yes.
What about social networking, NSC has a facebook page, are people not allowed to use that as Facebook could be used as the point of discussion, not NSC?

Nobody is trying to compete with you. NSC is clearly one of the best message boards in the football league. We all spend HOURS a day on here, it's great. I speak as just one blogger, but I'm pretty sure the others will all agree. However, preventing the posting of Albion content on here will only harm NSC in the long run. NSC is the number one Albion fanforum, it's everybody's first port of call. Don't damage that purely because other sites are appearing.

The club is growing - so is NSC, so is the Albion internet community. That should only be a good thing, surely?
