Gonna have to leave work in a minute, my lower back really really hurts for some reason. Felt fine until i got into the office but now i can't sit in the same position for more than about 10 seconds without it feeling like its going to spasm.

Anyone know how i could sort it, it well kills.

Bit odd Chappers - sure you haven't got a slight kideny infection or something of the sort? Surely if it was muscular you'd remember lifting something to hurt it?

Dear oh dear, the cricket is building up to a massive climax, and tonight we have a big game that we've had all weekend to get more and more excited about.

As a big cricket fan, and huge Albion fan, you now get a mysterious "back pain" that requires you to go home.

Very transparent Chappers ..... but a helluva good idea.

"Boss, m'back."

Go to the docs and get yourself an appointment with the Physio at Hove Polyclinic...Hannah, she is superb and fixed my back pain ( as well as an orthopeadic chair at work)

DONT GO TO A CHIROPRACTOR...they are charlatans

a song to make you feel better:

P.M. Dawn Set Adrift on Memory Bliss

The camera pans the cocktail glass,
behind a blind of plastic plants;
I found the lady with the fat diamond ring.
then you know I can't remember a damn thing.
I think it's one of those de ja vu things,
or a dream that's tryin' to tell me something.
Or will I ever stop thinkin' about it.
I don't know, I doubt it.
Subterranean by design,
I wonder what I would find if I met you,
let my eyes caress you,
until I meet the thought of Missess Princess Who?
Often wonder what makes her work.
I guess I'll leave that question to the experts,
assuming that there are some out there.
they're probably alone, solitaire.
I can remember when I caught up
with a pastime intimate friend.
She said, "Bet you're probably gonna say I look lovely,
but you probably don't think nothin' of me."
She was right, though, I can't lie.
She's just one of those corners in my mind,
and I just put her right back with the rest.
That's the way it goes, I guess.

Baby you send me
Set adrift on memory bliss of you

Careless whisper from a careless man,
a neutron dance for a neutron fan;
marionette strings are dangerous things,
I thought of all the trouble they bring.
An eye for an eye, a spy for a spy,
rubber bands expand in a frustrating sigh.
Tell me that she's not dreaming.
She's got an ace in the hole,
it doesn't have meaning.
Reality used to be a friend of mine,
'cause complete control, I don't take too kind.
Christina Applegate, you gotta put me on.
Guess who's piece of the cake is Jack gone?
She broke her wishbone and wished for a sign.
I told her whispers in my heart were fine.
what did she think she could do?
I feel for her, I really do.
The next day I had the ring finger on her hand,
I wanted her to be a big PM Dawn fan,
but I had to put her right back with the rest.
That's the way it goes, I guess.

Baby you send me...
Set adrift on memory bliss of you

I played cricket on saturday and football yesterday but felt fine for both and the pain has only just started this morning. I reckon the muscles are spasming (?).

Yeah yeah, and the Guiness is pure medicinal.
"They used to give it to patients in hospital, it's full of iron."

Not having a go Chappers, it's a great idea, and good luck with it.

Is the pain going down one leg? It is possibble you've trapped the sciatic nerve.

Walking around would help ease it (gently) or if it is too bad then make up an ice pack of frozen peas and wrap in a teatowel. Apply to the point of pain.

Chappers, Get some ice on the lower back and take some ibuprofen tablets and lie down flat as much as possible.

No pain in the legs, i think the ice is the best idea. If not i'm off to the doctors if it still hurts tomorrow.

Just had a net session with a couple of mates. Looking to sort my bowling out (especially my run up) in time to maybe play properly next season.

Do you know of any free nets that are easily accessible. the ones we play in are in a terrible mess.

I don't appreciate this mockery making of a veious serious muscular condition that seemingly will only be fixed with a combination of frozen peas and watching the cricket.
