I was greatful for your efforts, and indeed used them

The REAL reason for taking so long over your posters is because I am still on sodding crash-happy OS9 at home, using Quark 4 (still perfectly acceptable incidentally), and I can't do stuff at work, apart from work stuff.

It wouldn't have been so bad if we hadn't had a house burglarly and my iMac with all the up-to-date design software hadn't been stolen. And I had that compounded by the notion of Algae finding that fact absolutely hilarious, then apologising, then deciding taking the apology back.

What a wanker.

When was the last time a marketing bod gave a clear, precise, unambiguous brief to a designer?

'Well these pictures are fine on the website...' and 'oooh, what colour paints can we have...?' etc

Mind you, ad sales reps are worse.

The club should email something like this to everyone on their email base the day before the game. That would cost them nothing, so whatever it generated that would be a bonus.

I'm going to have a crack at one of these on the weekend. Ill do a hartlepool FA Cup replay one once ive finished some college homework (funnily enough it is to make an advertising poster, as i am studying graphic design ).

I like the idea of having one of these and emailing them to the people on the club database and sticking them up around in car parks. Surely wouldnt cost much and is bound to boost the gates.
