The Fatherland
Having assessed my CDs I reckon Milli Vanilli is the most embarassing but I stand by that purchase.

One of the best things my dad ever did for me was get me into Brighton and Hove Albion

One of the worst things he did was make me like James Last. Since he has now passed away (Dad, not James Last), I actually own more James Last albums than I do any other single artist!

Not a bad show either, the mans 65 years old!!!! Certainly isn't slowing down just yet. Michael Monroe was a blast too.punk:

I went with Herr Tubthumper who commented after Mikkey Dee's drum solo "it's not often you see a drummer with bingo wings":lolol:

As HT says, far far too many too list but off the top of my head:

Dollar - Give me back my heart
Rubettes - Sugar Baby Love
Daphne and Celeste - Ooh stick you
FR David - Words (Don't Come Easy)
Let Loose - Crazy for you
Denise Laselle - Toot Toot
Richard Harris - Macarthur Park
A lot of the Spice girls stuff
Phil Collins - Against All Odds
Chris De Burgh - the entire Spanish Train album
Bananarama - most of their output
Liquid Gold - Dance yourself dizzy
Laura Branigan - Gloria
Bonnie Tyler - Holding out for a hero
Boystown Gang - Too good to be true

In fact I challenge ANYONE to come up with a more embarrassing song that the last one. The 2 gayers who can't dance for toffee but are absolutely enjoying themselves just crack me up EVERY time. Genuinely love and laugh at this tune

I have no musical credibility at all now!

Backstreet Boys

I also do love a bit of cheesy pop and RnB at times, my favourite to sing around the house at the moment is Bruno Mars - Just the way you are. Oh and for some reason I LOVE Tinie Tempah.

Ha ha. It's true though :)

It was a good show, no one got murdered, and Micheal Monroe was a blast as Superphil said. Had the Hanoi Rocks drummer not died in a car crash my first ever live gig would have featured Micheal Monroe.

Some of these Rappers names are getting ridiculous now. I mean Tinchy Stryder sounds like a disabled scooter. Good music though

On my CD shelves - quick glance:

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suziyama Character song Vol 1 (It's the songs that accompany a Japanese Anima cartoon
Escape from LA soundtrack
Bjorn Again at the Albert Hall
Best of Mari Wilson
Vomitose by Vomitose (Hardcore 90s US band. They were awful)
Dr Doolittle the soundtrack (the one with Eddie Murphy - have no idea how I got that.
Cocktail 2000 - Lance Gambit Trio. A lounge band's versions of mid-90s Brit Pop. Their version of Dodgy's Good Enough and Spice Girls' Say you'll be there are brilliant.
