Made of stone film has just been given to me after being delivered this morning so I am going to say music.

I started this same thread a few years back  Music all the time. I could easily live without football but music no way. It always interests me, excites me and at times it amazes me. The best bit is there is so much more out there to discover; by way of an example I know little about the blues so I have just bought that 7 film Scorsese box-set. And I still have the same enthusiasm about new songs, bands and albums as I did when I was a youth; Reflektor being a good example. Football does not come anywhere near close to be honest. But then I am an Albion fan, not a football fan.

Music feeds into so much. If we get rid of it films and TV will not be the same. Video games would not be the same. Walks in the shop, mobile phone ring tones etc.

Gary Numan did when he stated he was a Tory.

I'm going to see him in a couple of weeks!

Music for me, it keeps on giving, whereas football these days seems to just take.

Live gigs are enlightening too:

Peter Gabriel last week.

Suede last night
Peter Hook tonight

and then Placebo, I Like Trains, Fields of the Nephilim, The Mission.

I know my musical taste doesn't make me a hipster, but it gives a constant reminder of another time and place, and that's why I love it.

I have forgiven him. I put it down to drugs or something.

I saw Numan tour the Replicas and Pleasure Principle albums a few years ago.

Yup, he is a bit cynical with regards to his tours, but I have a bit of respect for him in still getting up on stage. Read his autobiog a few years ago, he has been through quite a lot.
