well done that man

One of my favourite tracks ever.

Loads of great music from the 90's. Like any decade. Anyone who says it was rubbish is just ignorant.

the early years were dominated (for me) by all the new dance/electronic music that was exploding. Really fresh and exciting. Taught me how to dance and opened my horizons beyond the guitar bands I had been (and still) listen to.

Hey, what about the dude on keyboards eh? Never knew he had such nice chesticles.
I have that cd, and liked it a lot. There were some decent low-lying bands from the US that didn't make it all that big here at all - perhaps didn't need to if they sold alright in the indie-world over in the big country.

There's also a band named Dig from around that time, their cd is great too (there's a used copy in Amnesty on Sydney St, incidentally).

The bird in question is the delectable Zia McCabe, who since getting spliced, has refrained from getting her knockers out during gigs, more's the pity :p

Interesting that most of the selections have been UK-centric. To redress the balance somewhat, and off the top of my head:

Wilco, particularly Summerteeth and their Mermaid Avenue collaborations with Billy Bragg
Lucinda Williams - Car Wheels on a Gravel Road
Steve Earle's renaissance after being jailed in the mid-90s (the acoustic Train a Comin' is a highlight)
Bob Dylan - Time Out Of Mind (OK - hardly a new artist in the 90s, but this is a classic, so still relevant)
Jeff Buckley - Grace
Tajal Mahal - Sacred Island and Kulanjan (with tthe Hula Blues Band and Toumani Diabate respectively)
Ron Sexsmith - eponymous album
Lemonheads - It's a Shame about Ray

This man has an excellent and varied taste in music
