anyone think the new sfa album is a bit rubbish?
No, I do think it's a bit up and down in places but by and large it's an enjoyable affair. I do wish they'd write a more poppy album again but that's just not their way anymore. It's still the most interesting album I've heard for a while, and I keep hearing new things every time I play it.
I will persevere, have only given it a couple of listens. first track is amazing then it just seems plodding. hhhmmmm.
back on the nineties, how about all the talkin loud/acid jazz mob. Young disciples made a fantastic record in the early nineties.
America did have the best music in the 90's imo, Rage Against the Machine, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, RHCP, NOFX, Pearl Jam and soooo many more great bands.
