Why don't people make more of an effort to go to live gigs in pubs? A mate of mine and his good lady wife do an acoustic set in the Hartington every now and then, which is set in a residential area, but it's always abandoned on the Friday night. Which I think is quite sad to be fair.

I know it's 20 odd years since I plsyed in bands doing the pubs, but we never had problems attracting people. Certainly now, if I go somewhere like the Wellington in Shoreham to see some play, it generally seems to be busy.
