I want him back.

not that lump paynter. Imagine how good CMS or Hoskins or Barnes would be right now. They are all good actually, but they're all too similar.

I work with Palace fans. They're all starting to like him. Even though he was once a gayer. Gus...what have you done?

Not the real one
Can't reveal my source but Murray really didn't want to leave. Murray has repeated this several times to my source. Gus just didn't want him. He did ask for more money but the club weren't getting near what he knew other players that were transfer targets were gonna be on. I guess he was referring to CMS. He's still on 3k a week less than CMS as it is.
He also said that after 20mins of the game at the Amex he thought they were in for a hiding 3 or 4 nil. But then BHAFC stoped playing and let them in. Was also impressed by the Amex and the noise.

Seems like a nice guy but clearly Gus didn't want him and Gus has said before he found Murray difficult to manage and didn't fit in.

So yes, get over it, but it seems maybe Murray himself hasn't.

What a load of tosh. Murray had signed for Palace before we knew we were buying Hoskins, Buckley or CMS. They were transfer targets but nothing was certain, especially when three or four other clubs were in for CMS. He would have no idea of what the other wages are, as players in the same team don't know unless they tell each other.
Murray was made an offer, so if Gus had a problem with him, he wouldn't have had that offer. He chose to go elsewhere for more money and a longer contract. He could have stayed if he wanted to.
Get over it.

Finance and wages are Bloom's responsibility. The manager is given a budget but individual wages are negotiated between the agent, player and chairman, or the managing director Ken Brown, if Bloom is away. There are many clauses including win bonuses, goal bonuses and league position. It is not as simplistic as some would have you believe.

Those who keep bleating on about it sound like love sick teenagers who have been dumped. It's fuel for the away fans. Leave it out.

I don't personally care too much that he left. I'm just reporting what Murray himself was saying. BHAFC weren't offering much more than he was on. Therefore he didn't think they wanted to keep him. End of.
It is only his side though, so I'm sure there's alot more to it.

I know we have to move on and everything, but I too miss the sullen bastard. So far, this is the only move of the year that I now question Gus on.
