Not sure he has actually said that. Its Naylors take on lets talk about my future, lets concentrate on the next few games. Still I suppose Naylor could have come out with Murray not committing to the Albion.

Can't see many teams wanting to buy him for a price that we want untill he fully recovers from his injuries. He is quite prone to injuries at the moment.

Well, he is hardly going to come out now and say 'I can't wait to leave' is he?

My guess is he hedging his bets at the moment. He is a class above our team BUT will need to end this season well / start next season well to secure a move to the Championship.

There is no way he will stay if we go down.

He is 25/26? And came to us looking to further his career. He is one of the better players in this league (when fit) and so I can't see him wanting to hang about, especially when you factor in the f*cking irritating lynch mob in the Withdean crowd who want to force him out because he doesn't run around like Revell.

Especially as we bought him from Rochdale, and they are second and can go up to League one

That's a terrible headline, really poor. He hasn't said that at all, read the quotes.

He's (quite understandably) dodged the question, because we all know if Brighton go down Murray will be off. But he can't say that now in a relegation battle.

Naylor has already stretched the quotes a bit for his intro, and the sub editor has a had a total brainstorm in the office.

Hes on a good contract i have no doubt, so unless a Championship club comes in offering a pay increase i doubt he will go anywhere.

Why are you so sure of this? We would want a decent size fee before we think of selling and I doubt anyone would pay it at the moment.

My concern is that he needs a double hernia op at the end of the season!

With his injury record I think a lot of teams would be concerned at paying a fee for him, and I cant see we would let him go for free!

I hope he stays as I think he is a great player and will score goals for us, Division 1 or 2.
