If he had an ounce of personality perhaps people may like him more but to me he's just a grumpy Jock, why shouldn't I take pleasure when he eventually goes out of Wimbledon this year?

You cannot seriously be claiming he is "British"
I bet the jocks are pissing themselves that a load of English people are turning out to cheer on one of them.

If Murray was English, do you think they'd be supporting him and claiming he's British?!

+ as wehatepalace said, he was asked who he was supporting in the World Cup 2006 and he answered "whoever is playing England".
What a prick :tosser:

Just like most people on here want Scotland to lose?

I don't really care what you or others think. I will support him and you and others have the right not to. However, what annoys me is when idiots gloat if he loses a set and especially a match. It just gets boring. He is our only chance at Wimbledon.

Also, all Scots hate the English football team and want them to lose. So what? That is what rivalry is about. It definitely doesn't make him a prick but you keep calling him that if it makes you feel better.

What?
I want him to lose 'cos he wants England to lose, and because he's Scottish, obviously.
+ he's a miserable wanker.

Can you not see the difference. Scotland and England are separate football teams. In tennis, they come under the British flag. Whether you like it or not, that is a fact. He has GB after his name if you look at the scores!

To be honest on our passports it says "the united kingdom of great britain and northern ireland" that is the country so basically Murray does come from the same country that we all come from. Doesn't stop him being an absolute twat though.
