I am glad that we have signed CMS but would love to have had Murray on the bench to bring on if needed but lets wait and see who Gus brings in for that role as he obviously wasn't concerned about keeping Murray.

I cannot believe how you let him join us on a free transfer and then had to pay out £2.5m for his replacement.

Only Lambert and CMS exceeded Murray's efforts in L1 last season IMO.

I think that CMS and Murray would have complemented each other very well, Murray winning everything in the air and CMS spinning off the knock-downs.

No denying the importance of Murray and his contribution last season,his style was such that he was never my type of striker,just as i prefer Defoe over Crouch for England,then you could draw comparisons to what Crouch does for England,to that what Murray did for Albion-that said i always prefer channel runners with pace to burn and low centres of gravity,tricks flicks and all-but these don't always win matches for you or score goals.

Was Murray worth the money? Every penney...

Was he my Type? No

Do i prefer CMS? Yes

Will he have a good as record as Murray? time will tell.

Enough already... Murray did not fit into poyets plan so he got rid. No one wanted Murray except millwall and palace! CMS suits the way we play now and was wanted by Norwich,west sham and others..... Cannot understand why we are gutted and talking about Murray as a war criminal.. Nobody wanted him!!!

i can't vote on this as there is no "CMS, but i appreciate what Murray did for us even though he was never a favourite and i wish him well in the future even though i don't extend those wishes to the team he plays for" option.
