Mind you ... before today, his average was 17.93 - considerably worse than Hodd, Kirtley, the other Wright, Tucker, Arafat, Smith and Rayner.

Ok. Lets nail this to the post,i don't often get to see Sussex i have to put up with the likes of Leicestershire (aka South Africa),Derbyshire etc sides that contain kolpak,s short term contracts and 'has beens' M/G i believe at the start of the season was not certain even had a future in the English game due to his 'Zimbabwe' status. The man by his standards ( and there are many in the game that can't even get near him) has had a poor season. Maybe sorting his benefit might not be helping matters. However lets face it he is an excellent servant to the club,his 'knock' in the 20/20 v Northants was the difference. Ok the game could well end in a draw,i will take the 10/12 points and go on to the next game,i also back Murray Goodwin and anyone who has followed Sussex over the years will do the same,because by god have i seen some rubbish play for Sussex. Remember this ?
