Murray.... A bit lazy?

I can't believe that Murray is getting the grief that he is at matches and on here. Do we really want to drive good players out of this club. I don't think at all that Murray is a lazy player. Some players do have that style where it looks as if they are but I have to say that whenever he get's the ball a buzz goes round the ground - how many other players have that effect. He will be a good player for us and some people's expectency levels are far to high if they think that he's gonna score 2 goals a game. Simple fact being that if he did he wouldn't be with us. Obviously the fact that he was our biggest signing for 25 years makes people think that he is a top notch player. Maybe the 'biggest signing for 25 years' says more about us as a club than it does about how good
a player he is as it shows how unambitious we've been in the transfer market when other clubs in the lower leagues often spend similar amounts fairly regularly. Looking at other signings over recent seasons that clubs have made and the amount they've cost I'm sure that he will turn out to be a good investment.

I don't care whether it's Forster or Murray that scores, just as long as one of them does. When one's got a goal drought, t'other hasn't, which is all good at this stage in the season. Infinitely preferable to the ropey Revell-Savage combo.

Reading threads like this makes me realise what a bad fan i've been this season because I hav'nt seen Murray play yet, I know little bulldog was full of praise for Murray and his partnership with forster.
