Msn can be hit and miss.
I used to like using ICQ.

I've used all of them I think. ICQ I didn't like as all the versions I've used could be used hands free. Also, the user directory was held on your PC which made it inflexible to swap machines. It was louasy for web cams which I use often.

AOL, well, it's AOL so I have it but never use it. No Cam support either.

Yahoo Messenger is okay but it's poor with Cams, slow and jerky.

Google Talk I have and I quite like but until it gets cam support I'm not that interested. When it does I'd hazard a guess that it will be better than all of the others.

Lately I've tried Skype, I rather like it but getting other people to use it isn't easy.

Lastly, MSN, easiy the best I reckon. Reliable and very easy with cams. Most people I know use it and those who don't I always recommend that they install it.

I've used a couple of others but MSN rules as far as I'm concerned.

Does anyone still use ICQ - used to get a strange variety of choices on there! Gave up using it after I got me girlfriend for obvious reasons!

MSN Messenger compared to Yahoo Messenger is, in my opinion, a very inferior product.

Don't think so. I use both and encourage people to move to MSN. It's far better for conferencing and Yahoo is often flakey. It also suffers from slow servers in some countries too.
