I want to get an MP3 player. Just something simple for no more than about 30 quid. Can any body recommend one?

Leads etc always supplied - I had that Logik one and Junior now has it.

Looks about on-line deal, NB I paid £70 for it around a year ago.

I bought that MP3 player beach hut recommended but I must be doing something wrong because I have downloaded songs onto it from my media player, the display shows the song but when I play it it just skips through it, first to 20 seconds, then 25, then 29 etc... And there is no sound.

Does anybody know what I have done wrong? Please help.

do the songs pay normally on your PC?
Check the settings for the player.
Have you got the latest firmware for the player?

Tried the sound and turning on and off.

The songs are fine on my PC and the settings on the MP3 player are normal. What is firmware?

firmware is like a patch/update for the player, they fix bugs, add new stuff, improve exisiting things etc. Check the website of the maker and it may have an update, always worth gettiung if they do.

Still won't work. You can record your voice on it which I did and this worked fine. Just seems to be the music, I think I will have to take it into Dixons to find out.
