NSC I need your thoughts, viewing a house out in the wild of West Sussex next Saturday any pitfalls of moving to the Wild West ?
TarringWhere in Worthing?
Tarring is pleasant enough.Tarring
Looking for a quieter way of life, I work in portslade , no car so bit concerned over that and too and from Amex is another downfall , but house prices in East Sussex are now out of reachMoved back to Worthing about four years ago as we couldn't afford a house in Brighton.
It's much nicer than it was when I was growing up. Lots of decent cafes dotted around, good pubs (I tend to avoid the town centre pubs on weekends though).
It's not Brighton but it's a good place these days
Eastbourne no go for work far too far outIf you prefer East Sussex , house prices in Eastbourne are a lot more reasonable, the average is less than Worthing according to Rightmove.
I grew up in Tarring and generally a nice area. The village has a couple of half decent pubs and there are also a couple of micropubs near the station as well as some decent places such as flour pot bakery.Looking for a quieter way of life, I work in portslade , no car so bit concerned over that and too and from Amex is another downfall , but house prices in East Sussex are now out of reach
