Drove down to Bristol yesterday evening & the M4 was fine - arrived about 9pm.

Drove up to Stroud late morning today in heavy snow, but the M5 was well gritted & no problem.

Came back to Sussex this afternoon via the A419/M4 with no problems.

No need to panic people!

Well up here in dodgy Telford it been snowing thick and hard (ooh) since 11 this morning. When I left work early to drive home at 4pm, there was at least 6 inches (ooh) on my windscreen.

It took me an hour to drive the 4 miles home.

Hitony, be prepared for a very S L O W journey .....
