I think i've worked it out. She sounds like what she thinks a commentator should sound like, like using a lower to higher tone of voice - us women just dont sound like that - and it comes out fake

She really is shit - she might be alright if she spoke NORMALLY, but she's quite blatently trying to add excitement with the tone of her voice. As a result, she sounds like a right pillock!
