Had I not been in a bit of a tizzy about this thread I might have joined in with the misappropriation of the word 'underrated' and recommended The Guard.Whilst not underrated or panned critically, after watching The Banshees of Inisherin last night I feel The Calvary (by the other brother McDonagh) is superior.
They make a fantastic double bill if you have a free day or evening.
Two films worth mentioning, both well regarded at the time but don't seem to be spoken about much these days that I love are Ghostdog: The Way of The Samurai and Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. Colons coincidental.
But I don't see how any film staring Brendon Gleeson and Danny Welbeck can be 'underrated'.
