[Music] Most under rated Radiohead song?

Nothing from Bends, OK, or Rainbows should be allowed because they're obviously not underrated.

I'd second Present Tense but you could pick loads off of MSP or Amnesiac and they're all underrated.

Under-rated? Radiohead? It would be hard to argue that the music press has ever under-rated them. Everything they do seems to be met with levels of fawning and over-analysis previously saved for Bowie. The only answer can possibly be:

Okay True Stories is generally seen as after their best days, but it still has some worthwhile catchy pop songs that a lot of other bands would be proud of.

I think they can as I'm talking about underrated within their canon.

I bloody love Climbing up the walls but no one ever seems to put it in their top 10 or even 20 radiohead songs. Despite it being one of the strongest on their (IMO) best album.

'In Rainbows' also gets my vote as favourite RH album, and from that 'Reckoner' is their most underrated tune - like soul music interpreted by a white rock band, but sung with genuine soul.
IR is their best -- probably. And you're right on the Reckoner. My boy put me on to that. Still think I prefer 'Jigsaw Falling into Pieces', but that's probably the most rated on the album.

Another vote for Codex as most underrated.

Best band I’ve seen live and In Rainbows my favourite album.

I quite like Radiohead.

This is true, I hang out with too many people who think Radiohead peaked at OK Computer and anything after that isn't worth listening to.
To be fair, I was kinda in that boat for a while. I didn't like what I heard from Kid A and Amnesiac and skipped them. I got back in with In Rainbows and only fairly recently (past couple of years) found new appreciation for Kid A and Amnesiac

Is 'Pyramid Song' underrated?

If it is, it's that one for me. Marvellous sounds.

Ah

After listening to it a few times I thought I'd see if it's underrated.

Generally considered one of their best.

I thought it was the spooky odd one that I liked that other people probably didn't.

Codex gets my vote, as does the whole King of Limbs album. The last four songs on that are a pretty great exhibition of everything to love about Radiohead.
I’m gonna have to dust this off and give it another listen. Perhaps it was just personal events that meant I didn’t give it enough attention. As I’ve said I really loved the Albums either side of this one.

13 year old Daughter GB has just discovered Radiohead and we were discussing their best stuff at dinner just the other day.

I confidently told her Kid A was their best album (because it is) and it’s criminally underrated.

Off that the best track is Everything In Its Right Place.

The Bends came out when I was 20. I’m about to hit 50 and I personally underrated Bones as a track which now of course really resonates!

Burn the Witch is also one that I don’t hear mentioned much but is a gorgeous track. There’s a lyric in there that really gets me ‘this is a low flying panic attack’.

Good parenting. I can still remember the “wtf” when I first heard this album. Wtf due to the change in direction and wtf due to its brilliance.

Amnesiac is the best Radiohead record, and Like Spinning Plates is the best track. I still can’t get on with In Rainbows, or King of Limbs, and I’ve made multiple attempts over the years.

Something in the production turns me right off both of those records.
