Has to be Johnny Byrne for me, Could instantly control a ball coming to him

at any height or speed, his hold up play was brilliant & if he was in possesion

near the opposing goal, if he didn't score, you could more or less guarantee

he would win a corner. (why can't our strikers do that?)

Who's yours?

Has to be Peter Ward for me. His close control, ability to turn on a sixpence and eye for goal, I have never seen in another Albion player.

Peter Ward , closely followed by Bobby Zamora. No other players have come close to these 2.

Sergei Gotsmanov was the most skillful player to turn out for us. He also had the most influential international career of all of our players (although not whilst a Brighton player). His movement and passing were sublime, he made the game look simple and seemed to have so much time when had the ball at his feet. An exceptional player who we were very fortunate to have playing for us.

Come on Lloydie pull your finger out and find another one.

As a newbie amongst fans, I would have to nominate Zamora...
