I'd like to nominate 'Do you know what,...'

...used far too much by D-List actresses/celebs in response to being asked about something they are very uncomfortable about, and preceding some huge whopper about their lives.

eg 'So last year when all three of your films were turkeys, your director husband ran off with the on-set caterer, and you lost out to Jade Goody opening your local ASDA - those must have been tough times?'

'Do you know what...actually it was a really positive experience'.

"Yeah fellah". Yuk. Brings me out in a snobrash immediately. That and any particularly affected-sounding stilted cockneyisms, such as "I don't like being on me jack". JUST SAY "OWN".

Don't know about the worst speech, but the best I ever heard was Bill Shankly on receiving an award " Thank you, I deserve it " short, sweet and true.

'Literally' is an okayish word but when a wannabe-chav 13 year old says "...if he eats any more pizza, he will, like, literally explode"

Yeah right

People who still use the :censored: word "ickle", jesus that programme finished years ago, and the word was annoying then. Chris Evans has a lot to answer for, anyone who still thinks its funny, cute, or whatever to use this word should be shot

"I ain't doing nothing"

Or anything with a double negative, when they are trying to say a postivive

also

"What you chattin' bout?"

and

"Mission it" - when talking about walking somewhere which is quite far away, e.g. "gona have to mission it to the town then"
