I was gonna head over for this but the fact it ended up in Malta rather than the anticipated Holland and a lack of disposable funds meant i'll have to make do with the TV.

I was saying to my mate before the Pearl's game that Strickland is a complete Bellend and will be snarling and snapping before the finish. Literally straight after his very first break off shot he's argueing with the crowd, then swearing on a live interview after the match! I wonder if he'll have to buy Michaela another bunch of flowers before the end of this weekend!

As someone who plays a fair bit of 9 ball you can't help but be in awe of some of the shotmaking. That safety by Mika, then the fact that JJ nearly got out of it was incredible. Don't think my local club would be best pleased if I started bringing a jump cue down to practice with mind!
