Seemingly no one is paying anything for anyone before 01.07.No one is paying what they want for James, he will raise 25 million max.
He's a fantastic player, but he's going to retire soon

The Saudis will bail them out like they did last time. These āsort of peopleā stick together.Reece James is the other obvious one. However heās regularly injured.
The other factor is that the Euros are played this summer.
If Gallagher and say Colwill are in the England squad it is difficult to see a team purchase them whilst the Euros are being played or before that.
The deadline for the PSR is 30th June. If they sell after that date it wonāt help them.
They may manage it but it wonāt be easy, and the same problem will likely arise the year after.
Another issue is that Colwill, James and Gallagher are likely to be on big wages and so unlikely to be an easy purchase on for even a big six club.
I didn't understand some of the financial jiggery-pokery discussed, but it hadn't occurred to me that 'cleverly' spreading the cost of a 100m player over 8 years means that any profit in selling them before those years are up means far less actual profit.Disruptive owners, managerial questions and financial concerns: Chelsea are a $1bn mess

Would the euro delay be more about the players than the teams? I would expect teams would want to sign them before the euros just in case they have a brilliant tournament and draw attention from other sides. For the players, it would be the opposite - if they have a killer Euros, they could demand higher wages and get themselves a bigger deal (or perhaps a more desirable team to sign for).Reece James is the other obvious one. Yes - heās only played about 25 games in the last year and a half, and keeps getting hamstring injuries. No club will pay serious money for him.No one is paying what they want for James, he will raise 25 million max.

Makes you wonder why Utd paid silly money for Mount. Heās a HGP so all profit on his sale fee.Yes - heās only played about 25 games in the last year and a half, and keeps getting hamstring injuries. No club will pay serious money for him.
Plus, everyone knows Chelsea will be desperate to sell some of their academy-developed players this summer, so will have them over a barrel. Why would any other EPL team want to help Chelsea avoid FFP penalties?!
Thatās true, but usually players want to focus on the tournament and the national team manager certainly wants them to.Would the euro delay be more about the players than the teams? I didn't get this view, they are mostly unproven in the PLI did hear a lot in the summer about how Chelsea, especially Mudryk, were going to be "cooking" this season.
It appears somebody at the Bridge forgot to turn the oven on.

They even managed to re-sign their own player! Shamblesā¦Man Utd and Chelsea massively helped Chelsea signing Mount and Havertz respectively for Ā£120m.
Now if everyone could leave their primaddonnas alone (James, Chilwell, Gallagher etc) we could relegate that horrible club through FFP. They would also not be a threat anymore to thieir fellow Big 6, Villa and Newcastle. Please can this happen.
This is a good summary of what they'd need to sell the non home grown players for:
Souness is an absolute plum. He clearly has some dislike of us and keeps trotting nonsense out. What is his problem?Anyone hear Souness on TS yesterday kept going on about how we are in debt to Bloom and Palace are a well run club.
I don't understand the stats quoted as all other media says Potter had 22 League games?Amazing how little anyone in the media has to say about Poch given he is now objectively worse than Potter who they slated. Funny from outside looking in though.
