Its not a rumour is it, its just trolling to get a load of comments on his thread. Yes it would be better if everyone didn't rise to it but as mentioned above, its a bit different when its guaranteeing a signing we've been chasing for weeks, whereas off the cuff ones can be amusing at times. There's a whole website dedicated to this sort of stuff without bringing it unfounded on here- no mention of a source or anything just post and run.

Maybe it is, and yeah there's sites for these comments, but he's not done any harm as "trolling" would suggest. He's not been abusive, he's not saying anything against anyone or suggesting harm befall anyone, in the grand scheme of things is it really worth banning people. Even if this is rubbish what you end up doing by banning someone is making people feel they can't express an opinion because they'll fear getting banned because other people don't agree with them. It's a forum, there are people you don't agree with, there are people who post things you don't like, as long as no ones saying anything abusive or harmful, let them get on with it.

I'm not saying I particularly want to read about fictious posts, but to be honest I don't care if people want to post them either.
