Linked in the Star to:

Dean Sturridge
(as well as Cambridge, Coventry and Mansfield)

Also, did he have a strike partner called George Ndah (ex palace). Would he be any good?

Edited as Gunter changed the player from Ndah who has already signed a new contract with Wolves :dunce:

Sorry. Was in the process of formatting and pressed submit in error!

I would prefer it if we could get Ndah on loan.

I'd like to see Dean Sturridge although we need a big strong forward for the first.

Come back, Benji.

Not a chance, he scored 7 times in the last 14 games in the Premiership last season and looks like he'll be a regular this season

I think we may have to get in a foreign signing. There is nobody who would be any good available free who wont get snapped up.

Sturridge is too like Knight in my opinion, but without as much skill.

Would definitely be keen on Sturridge although we would also need someone in the mould of Benjamin or Iwelumo (preferably better though).

That would do nicely...

Who did?

Big Trev only played in 4 premiership games after he returned to Leciester.

Well that's what it says under his player profile on the official Leicester site .....

But I've just looked again and it hasn't been updated for a year :dunce:

To be honest, I thought the Neil Mellor link was more interesting on Sunday, but I have also read that Crewe have first option. :(

nah, that was their promotion season from div1 (02/03). he barely got a kick last year with big les ferdinand banging them in.

we do need another striker of the benjamin/iwelumo type though, to give us an aeriel threat and hold the ball up to take the pressure off our back four.

it was in yesterdays not todays. A mate at work gets a copy.

The report (well a couple of lines) on Mellor was in the Sunday Express.

Ndah has retired and Sturridge has played about 10 games in 3 years, so yes, they would be grrrrrrrreat in the words of Tony the Tiger.
