Monty Panesar is going to stand for Parliament for Gorgeous George's Workers Party. Good luck cracking the 16,000 Labour majority in Southall.

He becomes the third Sussex cricketer to stand for Parliament in my lifetime: quick quiz - anyone name the other two?

Sounds like the sort of thing Botham would have done?

Interestingly, Copilot suggests Rachael Heyhoe-Flint. And they reckon AI will take over the world?

Copilot is a crock.

What is De Zerbi's coaching philosophy?

5. Adaptability: While he has a preferred style, De Zerbi adapts to the strengths of his squad and the context of each match. Whether it’s a possession-heavy game or a counter-attacking battle, he tailors his tactics accordingly.

Blimey, how old do you think I am? (but Fry did stand for Parliament - long before I was born though)

But you were right on Lord Ted - stood against Jim Callaghan in Cardiff (lost by a lot)
Robin Marlar stood for an early form of ukip I believe (was it goldsmith 's referendum party)

To be fair, you could have given it an easier question

We have a winner. He also stood for the Conservatives in Bolsover - I'd say the definition of a lost cause in the early 60s (although Bolsover does have a Tory MP now, quite incredibly)
