Listening on the radio, Montoya and Rashford had a coming together leading to a clash of knees. BBC Sussex painted that as accidental, and that Rashford's foul on Montoya shortly afterward was deliberate retaliation for said coming together.

This is what it looked like to me.

The provocation would have been us giving them continual problems in the dying minutes.

That's how I saw it. Took him off immediately afterwards as well.

Yep, Rashford tried to knock it round Montoya on one side and run round the other. Montoya stopped the ball on one side, and took Rashford out on the other. Basically Rashford tried some skill, ****ed it up, bashed his knee on Montoya then spat his dummy out. Following this the next time Montoya had the ball Rashford went in late and recklessly and frankly was lucky not to be sent off, as he was trying to hurt Montoya. Though the tackle was not that high so he got away with it.
