20th January 1972 at the Brighton Dome. First ever live performance by Pink Floyd of tracks from Dark Side of the Moon. Suffered a few technical problems, but hey, I was there.

Sunday 26th February 1989 at the Escape Club, I was there for the Stone Roses first gig in Brighton. Unfortunately, they weren't.

The gig was cancelled and rearranged for the following Tuesday. Instead of the gig, we went on the pier and did all our money on the fruit machines. We weren't particularly bothered that we couldn't afford to go back on the Tuesday. We'd seen dozens of tinpot indie bands that never went anywhere. What made this lot any different?

Not sure it's a moment as such but feel grateful for having seen Queen at Wembley. I know Beach Hut was at Freddie's final gig as well.

Hawkwind Spirit of the Age Tour 1977, their last classic lineup & mad Bob Calvert on vocals ripping up the Stars & Stripes with a samurai sword while singing Hassan I Sahba.

The whole gig came to a crashing halt as the Manchester Hells Angels took on the Security.

Saw their first headlining tour - the one where the programme was full of hearing aid adverts... Have to say I only really liked the first 3-4 albums but as a power trio what a live band!
