I taped it a few weeks ago, and am now trying to watch it.

But every time I lay on the sofa I nod off, and miss chunks of the film.

I guess I should be grateful I'm not trying to watch The Exorcist.

I watched it at the cinema but kept falling asleep and not knowing how long I'd been asleep for. Confusing.

Very good film, saw it for the first time a few weeks back. If you fall asleep, you'll be completely confused.

Tried watching The Exorcist for the first time last night, f*** me what a dreadful film, after 35 minutes I'd had enough, thought I was going to die from boredom.

Do you mean Memento?

If so, I got lost about five minutes in, so you haven't missed much tbf :lolol:

Am currently trying to watch irreversible, which is another load of non-linear narrative baloney. Will probably not bother finishing it :nono:

If you fall asleep and miss some of it you just need to FAST FORWARD to catch up on the bit you missed

I stand corrected.

I'm going back in, as I've had a pooh, big slice of cake and a cuppa.

Lets see if I can make it to the second set of adverts.

Phenomenal film (it's Chris Nolan, so goes without saying). But you need to be FULLY awake and alert to enjoy it.

My second favourite film of all time behind American History X.
As said before, you need to be fully awake and paying attention to follow the often confusing plot, but that's the whole point of the film. Suffering with short term memory loss must be confusing as hell, not knowing how you got into a situation. Particularly love the bit where he thinks he's chasing Dodd :)
Basically he's being used by everyone to do their dirty work but he has no clue whatsoever......better shut up before I spoil the end, or the beginning, depends how you look at it?!
By the way, on the DVD, when the photos are spiralling on the menu screen, if you press enter when there is a break in the options it will play the film in the correct order. Just something I stumbled across.

I'd have to agree, it's a brilliant film IMHO. It seems I particularly like anything involving Guy Pearce. He's come a long was since being Mike on Neighbours.
#mancrush?

That explains it! Inception was a pile of shite too.

Insane talking. No point debating, we're clearly not going to budge views, but Inception is comfortably one of the best films of all time. A staggering achievement in mainstream cinema.

Yup, unbelievable ending to a really fantastic film.

All you need to do is write down the important bits on your body, then if you fall asleep you can remember!

Memento, an exceptional film. Inception, thinks it clever and so do people who claim to enjoy it. It is categorically a bad film.
