Well, the player should because it could be an uncomfortable and damaging time if he ends up staying. Not likely anyone will turn on him, but possible.Who do you think cares about his reputation?
The player?
A club signing him?
The agent?
The agent should because a good one will protect his client’s interest over the long term, not just seek a rapid payday.
Arsenal, probably not, as they’re in very likely in cahoots anyway. But they might regret it if opening the door means more interest from other clubs that Albioj may now prefer to deal with.
I suppose we’ll know how good they are if he moves to Arsenal in this transfer window. Otherwise, they’ve failed. Any idiot could make this guy a fortune in the summer when there’d be a queue of clubs after him, especially if he’s got a top 6 finish on his CV.
