Nah, he’s rubbish mate. Defo not top 6 material. Not worth pursuing, if he was any good Chelsea would have bought him already.

I think any interest in signing a new midfielder in January would be as a replacement for Mwepu as he retired after the last window shut.

In the summer, however, we could need a Caicedo replacement as well !

He has the potential to be the best midfielder in the world if he stays injury free. He runs games, with ease and against the best midfielders in the league. He's 21 and made losing Bissouma a positive.

Some of us can't either! - although he was in the last year of his contract ....... and at the end of the day no-one joined in a bidding war. Sadly. Think he'd have been much better suited to your midfield than Spurs' - Conte didn't seem too enthusistic about getting him either.

Surprised you haven't been in for some of our's before, TBH. Ben White would have been the ideal partner for VVD, but hey-ho .............. so, Caicedo then.

Yes, he's good - very good. Always a question whether someone is really that good, or are they just good, but in a place that fits them like a glove, where they'll be better than they will be anywhere else (see Cucurella) - but that's what the buyer has to pay to find out! He will cost a fair bit though (Aston Villa fans will probably be talking about 'Why don't we go and get Caicedo for abut £20 - £25M'. )

So really need to get him another year or so, otherwise at the end of next season we're in a similar situation as we were with Bissouma.

Read somewhere that he's only on £3.5k a week. Peanuts for someone of his ability.
