Yep, I can see TB thinking “I think we need to sell more players I’ll start taking bids for the January transfer window now and prioritise Liverpool on Caicedo”

exactly I don't think we would be keen on January anyway so the price would be astronomical on top of that if he has a good world cup we wouldn't be giving priority to anyone

Liverpool get first dibs!
Awesome speed with which some numpty makes up a story and now it's appeared on a dozen sites including national dailies. You can see how Trump works when you follow football rumours.

The only 'prioritising' we'll do when the time comes to sell is to prioritise the highest bidder! Liverpool should have tried gazumping Spurs for Bissouma in the summer!

I know. Reading some of the recent posts on here highlight just how much BS is in the media, and not just the random twitter accounts. Someone tweets that Liverpool are interested for £42m, GP says you'd get his boots for that, interview says someone else said more like £100m and Potter said they can try. Suddenly it's treated like £100m is a factual asking price from the chairman. It's all nonsense.

I appreciate that some fans like to read transfer nonsense for fun, but there's just too much BS to make it worthwhile for me.

If this lad has a decent World Cup, then come January the big clubs will be buzzing round him like flies around a cows arse.

You're not a million miles away. The Sky man who asked the question in the press conference was sitting in reception at the training ground beforehand with a member of the media staff when a locally-based journalist arrived. Sky guy asked about the £42m figure and the media rep just laughed. The journo said "try 100 million". Then when the presser started, the Sky chap put all that to Potter and the rest is history.

Isn’t he saying that Potter couldn’t turn down Chelsea, but he’s happy at Brighton?

But I expect more of this over time, Boehly/Potter learning the art of using Romano to unsettle players and help create unstoppable momentum.

Romano stirring shit about our players again, is it? He can **** off, the bottom feeding ********.

He is quoting Argentinian newspaper Olé, so that would be them - or Caicedo - doing the shitstirring, no?

Anyway, would take something ABSURD to get sold in January. Next summer is a bit of a different fiver.
