As my learned colleague above has said if you find the right shop any phone can be unlocked.

As it's not a major brand phone you're gonna have more trouble getting it unlocked than you would a new Nokia or Samsung, but they'll get there in the end.

Mate of mine had some crummy T-mobile branded handset that he needed unlocking a while back. Nobody claimed to be able to do it but after asking around he found a little backstreet shop that did the job nicely.

You're much better off with a better handset though. Some of Virgin's branded handsets are shockingly poor
