Someone has given me a phone and wants to use it in Israel. She has a new SIM so she can use it in Israel. She wants her contacts copied over. I assume I need to save the contacts to the phone and voila.

My question is that at the moment, in the phone settings the memory in use says that both the phone and SIM are in use. Does this mean I do not have to do anything?

Thanks.

It depends on whether the contacts are stored on the phone or the sim.

If they're stored on the phone you don't have to do anything.

The easiest way is to select the sim only memory and see if there are any contacts displayed,if not copy them from the phone to the sim.
