I think it showed on the pitch yesterday.It was a bit galling seeing that new ground but at least we have one on the way.

We have been saying all along that the clubs in that do well in the Premiership have huge financial backing (Abramovic, Glazers, Oil tycoon who made Man City the richest club in the world) therefore changing the game.

For the first time yesterday I was thinking that it no longer strictly applies to the Premiership.

The championship have rich teams playing in it and now I'm starting to think that League 1 is not immune to the game being spoilt because of huge financial backing.

Maybe we're not talking tens of millions but I think we need to face facts that money is creeping into the lower leagues more and more and to be the best we need secure financial backing more than ever.

Totally agree mate, although I would leave Hinshelwood and Vic Bragg and Lloyd alone as they were there under Wilkins before all this mess happened this season and have no real control over first team affairs.
We need the first team and reserve team management sacked.

I didn't hear anyone questioning Vic Bragg and Hinchelwood when the youth team were beating chelsea in the cup.

I agree that Slade/New Manager should be allowed to bring in their own coaching staff though.

How many of that team are first team regulars and have made the grade ? Doesn't matter a f*** about beating Chelsea it's bringing in players who can make the grade as league footballers

Yet last season we had sort of the same or possibly lesser qualified coaches on board. Wilkins was relatively inexperienced and Chapman, although a good coach didnt have that many badges.
