Football Insider is so far outside that you'd need a stopover to get there.

It, like many such Twitter accounts, has followers who must be desperate to trust any old shit.

*Someone then posts my comments mocking the Fatti transfer*

:ROFLMAO:

Regardless, file Football Insider under 'Broken Clock' or 'Copies from another source'

Story appears to come from Facebook earlier today but the article they are linking is nothing to do with a potential move to Liverpool. It’s a story from the start of October about us not putting a release clause in any potential new deal for Mitoma (which he’s obviously signed since).

I’m not even sure what the headline means. We won’t agree a release clause after Liverpool secured verbal agreement? Those two things contradict each other pretty much.

File under bullshit.

I used to think Pete O'Rouke was a good source at Sky. I don't know where it went wrong.

We're already on record as saying we are not selling any stars in January.

It's nonsense.

Hopefully he is in Liverpool ready for tomorrow.

The ‘verbal agreement’ in the headline isn’t mentioned in the article - the reference in the article is to the verbal agreement with Alexis. 100% clickbaity BS, and also a month old anyway (ie before he signed his new deal).

I could see Liverpool going for Mitoma if they lose Salah to the Saudi league in the summer as they’d have the money for Mitoma then. But in January, no way.
